Best time to visit
Spring to autumn (May–September) for strolling the colonnades and countryside; but the spa treatments and baths run year-round, and winter is quiet and magical. The international film festival is in July.

How do you get to Karlovy Vary?
Fly to Prague (about 4 hours from Tel Aviv), then about 2 hours by bus, car or transfer (around 112 km).
Do I need a visa?
Israeli citizens don't need a visa for Czechia (Schengen). From 2026 an ETIAS travel authorization is required — check before you go.
What's the currency?
The Czech koruna (CZK), not the euro. Cards are accepted almost everywhere.
